Based near the grand Tower Bridge in London, Gay Star News approached CK Creative to design and build a news based website. A clean design shows that readers can flow through the editorial and not be pestered with too much advertising.
This website has a jet-pack of powerful system functions, from social media integration and auto-semantic links, to feeding as a Google News resource and showcasing adverts through an integrated ad-server.
Rosywood Care Services
Rosywood Care Services is a care home based in Leicester that provide 24/7 care for people with learning difficulties.
They asked for a website that looked friendly, welcoming and professional to compliment their business ethics. Ease of navigation and search engine optimisation were crucial keys here. CK Creative also designed their logo and business stationery.
Total Battery Solutions
TBS are a battery manufacturing facility who needed us to create a new website and brand for this business.
The website was designed to be a marketing and sales tool for their business, and coupled with our partnered SEO services they are now receiving real returns on their website investment.
Scott Richards
Developed in collaboration with Eye design, this solicitors’ website is both fresh, funky and sets Scott Richards apart from their competitors.
Featuring an abundance of different template layouts, slideshows, newsletter subscription, quote forms and a latest news feed, we delivered an all singing, all dancing website that the client loves!
Cheekyshoes
Cheekyshoes are a company selling funky and unique shoes, and they wanted an e-commerce website that was equally funky and unique.
Designed within the powerful open source Magento framework, Cheekyshoes is an online shop that has links to Facebook and Twitter accounts, Twitter feeds, a blog / latest news section and a chat module so that customers can talk in real time to the Cheekyshoes guys.
Hculture
The Hculture website is a resource for a team of hairdressers and beauticians in and around the Cardiff area, and Hculture had one request with the design of their website and logo. They wanted bling. And lots of it!
This website also features a hidden backend appointment booking system for the Hculture team.
SFS
We were asked to participate with developing the SFS website by a local design firm Eye design.
We produced this website using the open source framework of WordPress, and bolted on a vertical ‘mega menu’ to the site. With graphics flowing in and out of text boxes, this website is big, in your face and exactly what the client was looking for.
Holiday Hen
Holiday Hen sell bespoke Tshirts for girlie holidays and hen nights, and they needed a website to reflect this. They wanted pink, and boy did they get pink!
Magento was used in powering this website as it is an open-source e-commerce framework from which we could customise to suit our needs. Holiday Hen have gone from strength to strength, and we have been there every step of the way to help them. Well done girls!
PJT Accountants
PJT asked us to design them a website for their accountancy practice that would distinguish their business from their competitors. It needed to look fresh and vibrant, but also convey their down to earth accounting approach.
We included a BBC business news ticker, and a vertical ‘accordion’ style menu (go on, give it a go!)
Zest Networking
Zest Networking is a networking website blog aimed at professional women in and around the Somerset area.
We designed this website using WordPress as it provides many powerful blogging features and a seemingly endless amount of customisation.
Chairs Revived
Chairs Revived were after a clean, simple website that showcased their restored furniture collections.
We kept the design aspect as minimal as possible, so that the real emphasis stayed with the product images.
Gecko Graphics
Gecko Graphics are a smart, energetic business providing sign making and vehicle graphic solutions and they asked CK Creative to provide a website that conveyed these values. They are able to edit every part of this site, from the text on the homepage, to the interactive galleries.
Interskill Plumb
Interskill Plumb were after a website that showcased their services to potential customers and was optimised to appear high in the search engines. Well, we did that (they are number 3 on Google’s front page!) and they couldn’t be happier with the result.
We designed this website using WordPress as it allows for easy-peasy editing of any page through an intuitive backend system.
BeingU
BeingU needed a website that was ‘social networked’ up to the hilt, and a fabulous brand to go with it. Enter CK Creative!
BeingU allows for updates and new blog entries from an iPhone, as well as automatically updating the Facebook account with new blogs and streaming the latest tweets.
Happy Dog Homestay
Happy dog home stay are a lovely dog boarding business based in Somerset that were after a website which advertised their services to the local community.
They wanted their lead mascot to feature heavily in the design – Charlie! They also wanted a slideshow feature to display photos of dogs that they currently look after, so we integrated a clever little slideshow module within a Polaroid image.
Yolo Adventures
Yolo Adventures contacted us all the way from Florida, as they needed a website for their parasailing and outdoor adventure business. Whooppie!
We had lots of fun developing the design for the website, and we think it really shows.
Allison Pearson
A blog style website was the order of the day for Allison Pearson, Daily Mail columnist and author.
CK Creative was asked to do a quick turnaround for this project, so that the website was live in time for the release of a new Sarah Jessica Parker film ‘I don’t know how she does it’ which was written by Allison Pearson.
